Maud Morgan Arts is a program of Agassiz Baldwin Community, a non-profit that has been serving the Cambridge community for nearly 40 years. The mission of Maud Morgan Arts is to build community through the visual arts by connecting, inspiring, and enriching individual lives. The agency works to reflect the diversity and talents of the community as we bring people together to make art, share art, and support visual arts education. 

Workshop Proposals

We are always interested in adding new and exciting programming and faculty to our arts center. If you have an idea or proposal for a class, workshop, or event we would love to hear from you. Please email MMA Director Cory Shea (cshea@agassiz.org)  a one page proposal including: Course Description, Materials List and Budget.

Open Positions

Interns, Fall 2018
The Arts Education & Teaching Assistant Intern will work closely with the Site Coordinator and art faculty to assist in the successful operations and facilitation of art classes and workshops at Maud Morgan Arts. This is a great opportunity to get hands-on experience in all the facets of a non-profit community art center. Please email Site Coordinator, Valerie [vmendez@agassiz.org] a cover letter, resume and two references. Deadline for Fall August 1st.

Snack and Track Coordinator/Teaching Assistant
Snack and Track Coordinator/Teaching Assistant will work closely with MMA Director and Site Coordinator to assist in daily operations and facilitation of art classes, as well as Coordinate the Snack and Track Program Maud Morgan Arts. This is a great opportunity to get hands-on experience in an art related classroom and all facets of a non-profit community art center. Coordinate our Snack and Track Program Monday through Friday, 2-6pm, which facilitates a safe environment for students as they transition from after school snack, Coordinator will walk students over to MMA for art classes. There our SnT Coordinator will switch gears into our teaching assistant. SnT Coordinator may also fill in as well as a substitutes for Kindergarten MMA teacher in their absence. Please email your resume, cover letter and three references to MMA Director, Cory Shea [Cshea@agassiz.org] (and link to art/teaching website if applicable). Art Instructor, Ongoing
Seeking inspired art instructors to teach art classes and workshops to children, youth and/or adults on a rolling basis. Applicants will be expected to plan their program with support from the MMA administration team. Please email MMA Director Cory Shea (cshea@agassiz.org)  a one page proposal including: Course Description, Materials List and Budget. (As well as website if applicable).
