Arts Education Intern | Spring 2020
The Arts Education & Teaching Assistant Intern will work closely with the Site Coordinator and art faculty to assist in the successful operations and facilitation of art classes and workshops at Maud Morgan Arts. This is a great opportunity to get hands-on experience in all the facets of a non-profit community art center.  Winter Session runs from February 24th – June 15th Please email Site Coordinator, Valerie [vmendez@agassiz.org] a cover letter, resume and two references. Our internship program is unpaid, or for college credit, or work study.

Weekend Workshop Instructor | Spring 2020
Are you interested in teaching a weekend workshop? We are currently accepting proposals for visual art related workshops for children (k-8th) or adult/teen programming.

Children Art Instructor | Spring 2020
Programs meet weekly from 3-6pm on the scheduled class day in one of MMA’s fantastic studio spaces. Applicants will be expected to plan their program with MMA Director before the session begins. Instructors have the opportunity to teach one, or more classes per a week.

MMA allows for diverse art creation with  state of the art Ceramic, Printmaking and mixed media studio spaces. Children, teens, and established and emerging artists of all ages and all levels create, teach, exhibit, and collaborate at Maud Morgan Arts.

MMA Staff Qualifications
Background in Visual Arts, Studio Arts, Art Education and Project Development
Experience in class planning and implementation

Prior Classroom/teaching experience (Classroom Management & organizational skills).
Preferred Skill – CPR + First Aid Certified
