In this class we will explore images from some of Boston’s most iconic public art installations; from Edwin Austin Abbey and John Singer Sergeant murals at the Boston Public Library (Central Branch in Copely Square) to the monument to Hungarian Freedom Fighters by Gyuri Hollosy in Liberty Square. We will learn about these artists’ lives, study their imagery and make art in their various styles and mediums. This class will combine literature and imagery.
If your K-5th grade child is not being dropped off to art classes by a parent or guardian, they must be enrolled in the
Snack ‘n Track program.
