Investigate a variety of media this summer through programming for youth through Creative Arts Workshops and for adults through our Summer Ceramics Series.

Creative Arts Workshops for Youth: Six unique weeks of creative art workshops that will explore two subjects for two hours each day, ceramics and one of a variety of other subjects including painting, illustration, screenprinting, sculpture, depending on the week.

Art and Design Intensive: Ceramics & Art in Response to Music

Week 2, July 15th – 19th
Ceramics & Art in Response to Music

Explore, Create, and Challenge Yourself

Six unique weeks of creative art workshops for youth rising grades 6 through 8th. Programs begin the week of July 8th and run through the August 16th.

Students will explore two subjects for two hours each day, ceramics and one of a variety of other subjects including painting, illustration, screenprinting, sculpture, depending on the week.


Art and Design Intensive: Traveling Sketchbooks & Ceramics

Week 3, July 22nd-26th
Ceramics & Traveling Sketchbooks*

Explore, Create, and Challenge Yourself

Six unique weeks of creative art workshops for youth rising grades 6 through 8th. Programs begin the week of July 8th and run through the August 16th.

Each student will be given their own sketch book and will travel offsite with our instructor as they visit local galleries and museums located in our very own Harvard Square.

Student will also experience the ceramic studio jumping on the throwing wheel to create handmade vessels, bowls as well as dabbling in sculptural handbuilding techniques.

Week 5, August 5th-9th
Ceramics & Printmaking

Explore, Create, and Challenge Yourself

Six unique weeks of creative art workshops for youth rising grades 6 through 8th. Programs begin the week of July 8th and run through the August 16th.

Students will explore two subjects for two hours each day, ceramics and one of a variety of other subjects including painting, illustration, screenprinting, sculpture, depending on the week.

This week students will in the print studio silkscreening various projects – creating posters, printing on T-shirts and more!

Student will also experience the ceramic studio jumping on the throwing wheel to create handmade vessels, bowls as well as dabbling in sculptural handbuilding techniques.


Art and Design Intensive: Ceramic + Paper & Bookmaking

Week 6, August 12th – 16th
Ceramics & Paper/Book Making

Explore, Create, and Challenge Yourself

Students will explore the art of bookmaking – creating various sizes, designing paper, practicing bookbinding techniques.  Student will also experience the ceramic studio jumping on the throwing wheel to create handmade vessels, bowls as well as dabbling in sculptural handbuilding techniques.
