Outback Summer Program

Instructor: Allegra Fletcher

Outback is a high-quality summer experience for families who value creativity, culture, and community. We specialize in building community through creative explorations and strive to strike the perfect balance of structure and freedom for a safe yet fun summer. Outback is for rising Kindergarteners (must be 5 years old by start of the program) through rising 6th graders. Families register by session (regular day from 8:30am-3:00pm) and may add an extended day option (3-5:45pm) for an additional fee.

1st-2nd Grade Arts Afterschool

Instructor: Juliet Wyse

In addition to our choice-based program for 1st-5th graders at the Baldwin School, we also offer days of afterschool in our studios at Maud Morgan Arts in an effort to make our arts programming more accessible. Over the course of the school year, a child enrolled in a day of arts afterschool would get a mix of ceramics, printmaking, drawing, painting, and mixed media. There won’t be semesters or gaps in programming, so enrollment would guarantee childcare on that day for the school year. Arts Afterschool will take place in the studios at Maud Morgan Arts, and the backyard and basketball court at 20 Sacramento St. Arts instruction will start at 3:30pm but children who arrive earlier will be supervised, served a healthy snack and can choose to work on homework, do outdoor recess (indoors in inclement weather), and socialize with friends.

Registration lottery for the 2025-26 school year will be open from June 16th-267th. The lottery system is a new process for afterschool registration. After introducing it during this year’s Outback summer program enrollment, we believe it will reduce technical challenges and make registration easier and less stressful overall!

All families can join the lottery between June 16th and 27th. We will be confirming spots between July 1st and 9th with priority given to:

  • Students who are currently enrolled in our afterschool program and their siblings
  • Current and incoming Baldwin School students
  • Children of Baldwin School staff
  • Children of MLBCC staff

These dates apply to all afterschool programming, include Maud Morgan Arts. Families will not be billed until they accept a spot from the lottery. No payments are required to join the lottery. Tuition rates, policies, and other important program details are available here.
