Saturday Ceramics with Bob Marcus
March 25th – April 29th
10am-12pm, Ceramic Studio

Join us for a mix of handbuilding  for six Saturdays with MMA ceramicist and MMA studio tech Bob Marcus. Students will also have a focused project of  developing low relief tiles using carving techniques. Open to ages 7-14.This class is a student drop off and pick up, unless students sign an independent release form (for 5th grade students or older, please reach out to registration for details).

Bird and Bird Feeders |
9am-12pm |Rescheduling for MAY Stay Tuned!

Students design and build bird feeders informed by two short presentations and a short bird watching trip around the MMA campus . The first presentation is on the role of birds in the ecosystem, and the second presentation is on how different birds use bird feeders. The goal of this workshop is for students to contribute to their community by linking creative thinking with natural science. Please bring recycled materials for students to build with. Some recycled materials will be provided. This class is a student drop off and pick up, unless students sign an independent release form (for 5th grade students or older, please reach out to registration for details).

Saturday Morning Clay with Yuchi
May 6th – June 17th
10am-12pm 
Join our ceramic studio Saturday morning with ceramic artist and Tech Bob Marcus. Students will develop handbuilding skills (coil work, slip and scoring as well as using box stencils). The program runs for six Saturdays May 6th – June 17th (Skips MDW). This class is a student drop off and pick up, unless students sign an independent release form (for 5th grade students or older, please reach out to registration for details).

April School Vacation: Middle School Ceramic Arts Intensive
Join us for a mix of handbuilding and wheelthrowing with MMA ceramicist and artist Yuchi. Students will also have a focused project of  developing low relief tiles using carving techniques. Open to students in 6th-8th grade.
