Join Clay Club on Saturday for fun, creativity, and friend-making with MMA ceramist Yuchi Jou. Our young artists can explore a variety of handbuilding techniques with clay such as slab, coiling, pinching, carving and more. Projects can include a mix of simple box slab building to an expressive ceramic form. Open to ages 7-14.

Students must be dropped off and picked up by an adult unless students age 9 or older sign an independent release form. Please reach out to registration for details.

Stories, Craft and Culture | Saturday March 23rd, 10am-12pm

Drop into our art center in our new Stories, Craft & Culture workshop. Come listen to an age-appropriate reading and participate in an art activity reflecting the story’s themes. In Spring of 2023 MMA was awarded grant funding from The Coop in support of this ongoing workshop.

The Maria L. Baldwin Community Center library was created in spring of 2019 through a $2,000 grant from the Max and Victoria Dreyfus Foundation. These funds purchased over 100 new books to revitalize the children’s programs library shared by the Kindergarten and 1st-5th Grade Afterschool. Our children’s programs teaching staff carefully chose these titles after a months-long process.

Suggested donation at the door $5 per person. Help sponsor guests by making a generous donation by clicking here.

Special thanks to The Coop Charitable Gift Fund for their grant in sponsoring this program!
