What does clay feel like?

As little hands grow, and their experience of the world expands, clay becomes a perfect way to express and describe and invent reactions to so much that is new and stimulating.

The feel of smooth, cool clay, easily shaped into anything, is a sensory pleasure, and once fired, the end result is something that never fails to elicit pride in little potters and parents alike.
