Printmaking 5-5-5

Five sessions, Five hours, Five techniques.

Based on the art school model, each class meeting is a considerable block of time.

Classes begin with a demonstration or thematic discussion and the “extended class format” gives students the opportunity to dive deeply into the process.

We will explore a variety of monotype techniques including stencils, resists, carborundum, stamps and transfer prints to create layers of luminous color and serial prints rather than print editions.

All levels of printmaking experience welcome.
