1st-2nd Grade Arts Afterschool
Registration lottery for the 2025-26 school year will be open from June 16th-267th. Sign up for our email list to receive updates. The lottery system is a new process for afterschool registration. After introducing it during this year’s Outback summer program enrollment, we believe it will reduce technical challenges and make registration easier and less stressful overall! Middle school students can participate in afterschool at Maud Morgan Arts on Mondays and/or Fridays. Over the course of the school year, a child enrolled in a day of arts afterschool would get a mix of ceramics, printmaking, drawing, painting, and mixed media. There won’t be semesters or gaps in programming, so enrollment would guarantee childcare on that day for the school year. Mondays, September 15, 2025 - November 24, 2025 (no class 10/13) This introductory level course is designed for students new to ceramics or for students looking for a refresher on basic skills. Students will imagine, draft, and execute various forms of their choice. This will be a fun, creative, and experimental space to explore handbuilding according to students’ interests. Basic skills covered include wedging clay, construction techniques, surface decoration techniques, and more. Students must be 18 or older to participate.
