Making Art, Creating Community: Spirit Awards honors Jason Weeks

The 2017 Spirit Awards honored Jason Weeks, a leader in arts advocacy and creative partnerships. Mr. Weeks was integral in providing City and Cambridge Arts Council support for Maud Morgan Arts from its initial planning stage. As a vocal community arts advocate, he has been a dedicated spokesperson for Maud Morgan Arts’ outreach programs. The Spirit Award recognizes and honors Mr. Weeks for his enthusiastic leadership and immense contributions to the arts in our community.

The sparkling lights, the live music, the hors d’oeuvres, and magnificent artwork, and the smiling faces of friends and newcomers created the perfect atmosphere in which to celebrate our special arts community. We wish to thank Spirit Awards honoree Jason Weeks, presenters Charley and Diane Norris, honored guest Ron Lee Fleming, our hard-working volunteers, and our generous donors and sponsors for creating such a beautiful and memorable evening.
